Main page of the website - love the vibrancy and animal vibe!I only recently found out about this place this summer before I went there, but the very idea was 'good' to me. Definitly an experience to remember and I thought it would be interesting to base one of my topics on this - try and understand the concept better as it's not too commerical and not one of the things people think of when talking about Ibiza.
What I thought was also intriguing about the place was that you aren't allowed cameras (although you can take in phones??!!! which is how we got ours (not great quality like!!!). I thought it was quite cool how they are trying to keep it under wraps and not let it be too commercial.
What is good about it: I loved how they've transformed an old abandoned zoo into a day time rave - using something old and not letting a great space go to waste and is totally different to anything I've seen before.

The Zoo Project was started by a group of friends, whose love of underground music and the uniting powers of Ibiza decided to break down the boundaries between people with a simple message: We are all animals!
Born in Ibiza the Safari animal movement, started of as a free party at an old abandoned Zoo in the hills of Ibiza run by Adrian, Lubka and Defex.
In 2007 the idea evolved and Ady (UK) and Lubka (Slovakia) launched The Zoo Project.
Ady and Lubka recruited Joe (The Minx FX) and DJ Defex (GER) to become a fixed part of the core Zoo Project team. The aim of the Zoo was to gather the party animals, unite the different countries in and collect clued up music lovers from around the world.
Since the first dream three years ago the Zoo family has grown and is now the most talked about new thing in Ibiza’s underground clubbing scene. Famous for the original animal concept and cutting edge house and techno The Zoo Projects popularity has been achieved even while avoiding commercial TV interviews and magazine write ups.
Understanding that the underground only exists when you are hiding from the main stream, The Zoo Project acts as a key figure in discovering new underground talents and showcasing world famous music producers.
Launching new ideas all the time, a sense of complete individuality has been maintained. The interactive techno jungle showcase re-invents fresh madness and mystery with each event.
Now known for having some of the best resident DJs from around the world The Zoo Project in the summer gathers up to 3000 people every Wednesday and Saturday. This has now opened the doors for Zoo Projects special events all over the world.
For the near future The Zoo’s impressive list of international resident DJs will help unite the nations in Ibiza and the goal of The Zoo Project will be nearly achieved. Remember you guys are the party and remembering this we move on into the future.

The resident jungle boy of the troupe, Mogli is Miss Discos right hand man when it comes to creating and organising. An exciting fire artist in his own right, his 2 metre high fire breathes amaze and dazzle a crowd! An energetic character with style and charisma, Mogli is a strong believer in the magic of performance.

Chief stylist and make-up artist for The Minx FX team, Lynne has won several face painting awards including the prestigious Queen of the Hill Snazaroo Award, Lynne was reigning Queen for one month and fought off competition from America and Holland to retain the title. Lynne has also taught face and body art classes across the USA, in Missouri, Kansas City, Philadelphia and New York City. a face painter to be reckoned with!
